BRUSSELS – It has been five days since the discovery of the body of Annick Van Uytsel and no concrete clues have yet been found that may lead to an arrest. The public prosecution department in Louvain is investigating more than 200 tips. About 10 tips are still coming in each day.
The public prosecution department confirms that detectives are looking for a German worker who has been missing since the weekend when Annick disappeared. Spokesperson Patrick Vits: “We want to look at every possible lead and keep every avenue open.”
A great number of people are expected to turn out for the silent march tonight. Starting at 7 pm participants will walk from Schaffen to Diest, led by the friends, parents and relatives of the girl from Kaggevinne. The march will follow the route Annick took on the night of her disappearance.
