ANTWERP – The Flemish Opera House in Antwerp will open its doors once again on 17 November.

Renovation work is still ongoing and the reopening has been postponed several times.

Now the date has been fixed, says opera manager Marc Clémeur. Workshops and performances at the opera house will be open to the public on the opening weekend.

“That will mark exactly 100 years since the opera first opened its doors in 1907,” Clémeur added.

The manager of the opera company presented the programme for the Flemish Opera for next season in Ghent today. Wagner’s Ring Cycle is on the agenda.
