BRUSSELS (AP) – Four Belgian army trucks collided early Wednesday in southern Belgium, injuring 26 hikers on their way to a march.

The Defence Ministry said the trucks were involved in a tailgate collision near Libramont, about 150 kilometres (90 miles) southeast of Brussels. The cause was not immediately clear.

Two of the 26 injured were in serious condition, the ministry said.

Defense Minister Andre Flahaut went to the scene to assess the situation.
