23 September 2005
BRUSSELS — A Welcome Fair for expats will be held in Brussels this weekend to introduce newcomers to Belgium.
Staged by the Brussels-based English weekly magazine ‘The Bulletin’, this is the 12th year the Welcome Fair has been organised.
The event is aimed at the growing numbers of English-speaking civil servants, managers and employees living in Belgium.
Organisers said the fair aims to introduce new arrivals to Belgium and familarise them with products and services to facilitate their settling in, broadcaster VRT reported on Friday.
The products and services include relocation companies, telecommunication, transport and health insurance companies.
The Welcome Fair will be held at the Autoworld Museum (Cinquantenaire-Jubel Park) in Brussels on 24 and 25 September.
