Two die at Dutch farm during fertilizer production

SINT NICOLAASGA – A Dutch farmer and his son-in-law died on Monday, probably from a toxic chemical reaction accident, police said.

Police said that in the incident on the farm at the village of Sint Nicolaasga in northern Netherlands came while the two men, aged 61 and 33, were probably processing manure into fertilizer, causing a toxic chemical reaction.

They were found unconscious by a third man who alarmed the police before he also lost consciousness. The third man survived.
