Rotterdam Dance Parade attracts 400,000 people. Photo by Expatica reader IndahROTTERDAM – The largest dance event in Benelux, the Dance Parade, has been held in Rotterdam for the 12th time.

Hundreds of DJs and dancers turned the streets of Rotterdam into one large festival on Saturday. The organisation says approximately 400,000 people attended the event.

The Dance Parade features scores of carnival floats with DJs and dancers driving through the centre of Rotterdam. The main attraction this year was British DJ Carl Cox.
