One-stop registration at the Hague for Rijswijk residents

This will allow Rijswijk residents to obtain their residence permit, register with the municipality and receive their social security number at THIC.

It is the third such collaboration between municipalities in the The Hague region.

THIC has also signed an agreement with the municipalities of Delft and Leidschendam-Voorburg to provide the same service.

The The Hague International Centre is located in the atrium of the The Hague city hall.

The Hague deputy mayor Marjolein de Jong (Culture, Inner City, International): "This is a special day, because today we celebrate the collaboration of Rijswijk and The Hague in the The Hague International Centre. Expats tell me they greatly value the services we provide here. It is of course utterly convenient to have a one stop registration facility arriving in a new country."

Her collaegue-deputy mayor René van Hemert of Rijswijk (economy, regional planning): "Rijswijk is a hospitable city for its expats. Working together with the The Hague International Center (THIC) means we can provide even better services to those expats within our city borders, thus creating an even stronger, internationally attractive region."

Aside from local and national services, THIC also offers the services of ACCESS.

This international organisation of volunteers advices on housing, labour and life in general in the Netherlands.
