Russia wants Kononov case to be revised

Lawyers of WWII veteran Vasily Kononov will appeal for the revision of his case in Strasbourg Court for Human Rights due to “;newly discovered evidence”;. Kononov’s lawyer says the Court operated with the facts for which Kononov had never been convicted and was even acquitted in Latvia.
