Prime Minister Putin believes a Ukraine that is sound economically leads to a Ukraine that is stable politically. He told this to reporters in Sochi on Friday ahead of going into talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Nikolai Azarov about ten major cooperation programmes in oil, gas, nuclear power, heavy engineering and defence manufacturing.
