Parties to Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty seek nuclear-free world

Next Monday the UN Headquarters in New York will play host to another conference of the signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Officials from 189 countries are due to attend, to discuss – until the end of May – action on the implementation of the treaty, and to decide on improving the key mechanism of the collective security system.
