Minute of Silence commemorates Russias war dead

Russia has observed 5 minutes of complete silence in memory of some 27 million Soviet people who died in the war with Nazi Germany, ended in Allied Victory 65 years ago. This Sunday also saw family gatherings, tearful reunions and memorial church services across Russia. Many remembered wartime help from the Western allies.
