Volcanic ash closes airports in Spain, Portugal

Over 900 flights in Spain and Portugal have been affected by a volcanic ash cloud. Nineteen airports were closed in Spain, including international hub Barcelona. Over 130 flights were also grounded in Portugal on Saturday. The ash cloud is drifting towards the south of the Pyrenean Peninsula. The ash covers a territory of about 2,000 kilometers over the Atlantics.
