UK bans flights over Northern Ireland and Scotland

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has again banned flights over Northern Ireland and Scotland owing to the eruption of Iceland’s Eyjafjallajoekull volcano . The volcano woke up in March following an almost 200-year break. It has since spewed a huge cloud of volcanic ash, which has quickly spread over Europe. Many air-carriers cancelled flights fearing danger to aircraft engines.
