Taliban insurgents on Saturday overran a remote district in eastern Afghanistan after days of heavy fighting in the area. The battle started five days ago in the Barg-i-Matal district, a remote area bordering Pakistan, when some 300 Taliban fighters stormed the area administrative headquarters.
