Slovakia holds parliamentary election

Slovakia is holding parliamentary elections today. 4 million voters of the republic’s 5 million-strong population will be able to choose from the 2,366 candidates nominated by 18 parties and movements. Candidates of less than a half of these parties stand a real chance of making it to the 150-seat parliament.
