Saakashvili splashes out on jet

The Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has spent 56 million public dollars on a Challenger plane and another 7 million on an individual bailout catapult. Observers believe he acted on the spur of the Smolensk air crash that killed Lech Kaczynski. The opposition politician Iosif Shatberashvili has accused the President of being less than economical with public funds.
