Russia’s Nadezhda Petrova beats Venus Willams at French Open

Nadezhda Petrova has qualified into the quarterfinals of the French Open on Sunday by beating American seed N2 Venus Williams with 6-4, 6-3. Earlier Russian Elena Dementieva won over Chanelle Scheepers from South Africa 6-1, 6-3. That means that in the quarterfinals the two Russians will have to play against each other.
