Russian research vessel back from Antarctica

The “;Academic Fyodorov”; research vessel is back to St.Petersburg today after circumnavigating Antarctica. In the course of the 201-day expedition Russian explorers did extensive research into the natural environment of the southernmost continent, and continued drilling a well to get water samples from sub-glacial Vostok Lake.
