Russia is prepared to continue talks on a peace treaty with Japan. In a telephone conversation with Japan’s new Foreign Minister Katsuo Okada, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov said that joint efforts and the political dialogue in particular, would contribute to maintaining interaction in the international arena and developing trade and economic cooperation.
