Russia have made it to the final of the world championship in ice hockey by scoring 2-1 in a semifinal match with the hosts Germany. The deciding goal hit was by Pavel Datsiuk. The other finalists are the Czechs, the bullet victors over their semifinal rivals the Swedes.
