Russia demands probe into war memorial desecration in Berlin

Russia has demanded that Germany investigates the desecration of Soviet military memorials in Berlin, Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Nesterenko said. He said that Moscow is upset by the lack of due promptness in dealing with the damage, including the humiliating inscriptions on the memorial in Tiergarten, Nesterenko added.
