Russia sees as balanced and appropriate the Washington-proposed UN Security Council draft resolution on Iran. This came in a statement Tuesday by the Russian ambassador at the United Nations Vitaly Churkin. According to the official, the draft seeks to strip Iran’s nuclear programme of the threat of nuclear proliferation.
