Pyongyang and Beijing have decided to pool efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula for the sake of peace and stability in North East Asia. This comes in a statement by the North Korean news agency following a meeting between Kim Jong-il and Hu Jintao in Beijing. The North Korean leader said he would press for a nuclear settlement through dialogue.
