Patriarch Bartholomew to visit Russian shrines

Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople has begun his visit to Russia in the course of which he will conduct services in Moscow churches and monasteries, visit the Trinity Lavra of St.Sergius near Moscow, and will go to St.Petersburg and Valaam Island in Karelia. As he arrived in Moscow, Patriarch Bartholomew said he arrived from the heartland of Orthodox Christianity.
