The Palme d’Or of the festival in Cannes has gone to the mystical movie by the Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul ‘Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives’. The Grand Prix goes to 'Des Hommes et des Dieux' by the French filmmaker Xavier Beauvois.
