Pakistan tribal elders secure hostage release

Tribal elders in northwestern Pakistan have negotiated the release of some 50 of 60 hostages who were captured by militants. The captives were local people fleeing combat between government troops and the Taliban. The gunmen who snatched them from their convoys were wearing police uniforms.
