Leader of the British Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg has Russian roots, The Times daily reports, pointing to Clegg’s great-grandfather, Ignat Zakrevsky, who was a Senate member in the Russian Empire. Zakrevsky’s sister was an undercover agent, who took part in a coup to topple the Bolshevik Party in Russia, the newspaper said.
