Mud stream in Congo

As a result of constant heavy rains a mud stream off Mount Nyiragongo in the Kivu Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has claimed 46 lives. More than 200 households have been destroyed. The head of the UN mission in the Congo says the rescuers have so far found 16 bodies. Emergency operations will be continued.
