Moscow police have prevented an unauthorized opposition rally for the freedom of assembly on Triumfalnaya square. The organizers scheduled the rally on the same time as a youth campaign for blood donation. Several dozens of protesters were detained. Russia’s Human Rights Ombudsman Vladimir Lukin was at the site and will report on the situation.
