Kyrgyzstan has filed a request with the Interpol to render assistance in detaining the country’s ex-President Kurmanbek Bakiyev. According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz interim government Azimbek Beknazarov, Bakiyev’s whereabouts are currently unknown but some reports say he is in Turkey.
