Ahead of the 65th Victory Day celebrations, United States Ambassador to Russia John Beyrle will read his father’s letters from the front. The distinguished veteran of the Second World War, Joseph Beyrle was the only soldier to have served simultaneously in two armies – those of the United States and the Soviet Union.
