Japanese Premier slammed over Okinawa speech

Japan ’s Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama is facing criticism over his plan to keep some of the US air base on the Futenma Island. The premier attempted to persuade the residents of Okinawa to approve the location of some Futenmas facilities within the prefecture but he was critically condemned for his proposal.
