Helsinki-Petersburg rapid train Allegro will start running December 1, 2010, the head of Finland’s VR railway company reported. Russia’s and Finland’s prime ministers attended the presentation of the train. It will cover the distance between Helsinki and St.Petersburg in 3.5 hours compared to the previous 5.5.
