Greek workers strike turns ugly

The general strike by workers in Greece, unhappy about the government planned austerity measures has turned very ugly and tragic. Tens of thousands of demonstrators, protesting against the government’s tough plan to reduce the huge state debt in exchange for the promised EU and IMF bailout, have fire-bombed public buildings, including a private bank, killing three bank workers.
