Georgia willing to extend security guarantees to Abkhazia

Georgia has proposed a deal in which it teams up with Russia to extend security guarantees to Abkhazia. Russia rejects the proposal, arguing that the Georgians must comply with demands in the Medvedev-Sarkozy peace plan to clinch bilateral non-aggression pacts with Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
