Fridays blast in Derbent kills one and wounds seven

The number of those wounded in Friday’s blast in the Dagestani city Derbent has grown to seven, while one woman has died, according to the Derbent police department. The explosion tore through the city railway station yesterday after a local commuter train had pulled in. By preliminary reports the explosive device was planted in a litter bin.
