Egypt's parliament has canceled the law on emergency situations, which was introduced in the country in 1981, RIA Novosti reported Tuesday. The politicians called it a historical decision and a revolutionary step forward for modern Egypt especially on the eve of the parliamentary and presidential elections of 2010 and 2011.
