Russia must do away with ";environmental nihilism"; and build a comprehensive state environmental protection monitoring system. Dmitry Medvedev made this announcement speaking at the State Council session dedicated to environmental protection problems. The head of the state stressed that without these measures all efforts in environmental protection are ineffective.
