Death toll from the explosion at the Raspadskaya coalmine in the West-Siberian Kemerovo region has reached 60, says the Emergencies Ministry operations centre. The lot of 30 miners is still unknown. Two blasts tore through Russia’s biggest coalmine on Saturday night. A government commission was set up to inquire into the causes of the disaster.
