British voters turn down Labour

Voters in Britain turned down Labour in parliamentary elections on Thursday. Labour has lost its mandate to the Conservatives. Reports by the country’s top television companies say the Conservative Party will get 50 seats more than Labour in the new House of Commons. After 13 years in power Labour has lost its mandate to govern.
