Britain faces “hung parliament”

The preliminary results of the May 6 general elections in Britain suggest that none of the main political parties has an absolute majority in parliament to form a government. For the first time in the past 36 years Britain gets a “;hung parliament”; and is thus faced with a period of political uncertainty.
