The Swiss pilot of a light aircraft was killed when his plane crashed in northeastern France on Friday, the fire service said.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, was a 55-year-old Swiss doctor, the service’s operational centre said, adding that there had been low-lying cloud at the time of the accident at about 2000 (1800 GMT).
The plane came down in a mountainous area of the Valley of Munster.
