U.S. Senate votes to lift military gay ban

In a landmark decision, the Senate voted Saturday to overturn the military's controversial ban on openly gay troops. The repeal of the 17-year-old "Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy now heads to President Obama's desk for his signature.
