An elderly Swiss man was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of molesting a 12-year-old boy at a Thai seaside resort, tourist police said.
Hugo Leuthold, 79, was picked up in an early morning raid in Pattaya over allegations that he paid the child 500 baht (16.5 dollars) to perform several sex acts.
Leuthold, a retiree who has lived in Thailand for a number of years, was charged with molesting the boy and illegal detention of a minor.
