An iPhone application launched by Switzerland Tourism offers a lightweight alternative to maps and guidebooks for 32 scenic hiking trails across the country. With such features as location finding and an inventory of places to eat and drink, the app has already been downloaded by almost 70,000 ramblers who own the Apple smartphone.
