Pretty in pink prison cells calm down detainees

Biel police paint two cells pink to calm down prisoners, after a study argues that the colour reduces blood pressure and aggression. This unusual idea is inspired from a 30-year-old practice in the United States and has already been tried in Pfffikon, Zurich. However, in Biel, officials say it’s too early to draw any conclusions from the experiment.
