More than 40 years of recordings of the Montreux Jazz festival will be digitalized by EPFL to guarantee their preservation. The recently launched Montreux Sounds Digital Project will transform this unique heritage into a top-class resource for future generations. It also spurs the creation of an EPFL Meta Media Centre that aims to become a world reference for media archives.
