Italy pick hotel for Euro 2008 finals

The Italian football federation (FIGC) said through their website that the world champions will stay at a hotel in Baden, 30 kilometres south of the Austrian capital.

The Azzurri will use the stadium of Admira Wacker, a lower- division team from the nearby town of Maria Enzersdorf, as their training camp.

Italy’s group-phase games against Netherlands, Romania and France are to be played in Switzerland. The knock-out phase games are to be played in Basel, Switzerland, and Vienna, which will host the final. dpa
