Geneva expats raise mounting safety concerns

In response to rising worries about safety in Geneva among expatriates, expressed in a new survey, a report recommends that cantonal police boost neighbourhood patrols and make more efforts to raise their profile with the general population. A poll, conducted in cooperation with the Swiss Mission to the United Nations, reveals expats concerns over such issues as drug dealing, fighting and youth gangs.
