Central bank set to tighten monetary policy, UBS says

The Swiss National Bank will take action to cool the domestic economy and the real estate market by either hiking interest rates in September or taking other action to tighten lending practices, a report issued by UBS Wealth Management Research predicts. One possibility is that the central bank will work with the Financial Market Supervisory Authority to toughen mortgage requirements, a UBS economist tells Swisster.
